Police Pay Update

Police Representatives from every Force in Scotland supported their colleagues in London and added voice against the UK Governments handling of police pay matters.

SPF supports colleagues from England and Wales and Northern Ireland who should have had the 2007 pay deal paid in full.

Together with them, we will actively seek an improved negotiating mechanism which properly reflects and compensates the restrictions on police officers.

We will also be considering further the question of polling our members' attitudes in early course.

In order to maintain focus on these issues, representatives from your Joint Branch Board will join the SPF National Executive in London in late January.
